How To Insert AdSense Ads Without Plugins In WordPress


Most bloggers are starting a blog to make money from Google AdSense. In the beginning, they think that AdSense is the best and only way to monetize a blog. But that’s not true. The method is very simple. First of all, you need to create a new AdSense ad unit. For that, log in to the AdSense account and go to my ads section.

From there, you need to create a new ad unit.

On the next screen, you can see all available ad types.

In my case, I would like to create a text and display ad for my website. So, just select it.

On the next screen, name your ad unit.

After that, choose the ad size from there. Choosing responsive advertisement will help you to show the best suitable ad size on the area.

In my case, I would like to show one vertical ad.

Under the ad type, make sure that you have selected the text and display ads option. So, you will get high revenue from those ads.

If you have custom channels, you need to add them to the newly created ad unit. Custom channels will help you to increase the revenue by showing related ads to your content.

At last, save the ad unit and get the ad code.

The system will give you a code for the ad unit. Simply copy the code from there.

On the WordPress blog, go to widget section and add a new HTML widget to the widget area that you need to show ad. In my case, It is the sidebar.

After that, paste the ad code that you copied before and save the widget.

That’s all. If you don’t see the ad in the widget area, don’t worry. There is no problem with this method. It will take up to 30 minutes to show the ad on the specific ad spot.
