Recently, one of our users asked that how to create a PTC website. Here, PTC stands for Paid To Click. In this post, we will show you the step by step guide to creating a PTC website using a PHP script.
How To Create A PTC Website?
For creating your own PTC website, you need three things. One is website hosting where you need to store your files online. Second is a domain name. This will help your website visitors to find your website. At last, you need CronLab PTC script.
If you are looking for a cheap website hosting, we recommend you Xozz or Namecheap for your business. Using our Namecheap coupon, you will get 40% off on the purchase. Also, using our Xozz deal, you will get a free .com domain from there. You may want to check the complete Xozz review for more. Make sure that you have chosen the Linux shared hosting.
So, let’s begin to create your PTC website.
First of all, log in to your website cPanel and go to file manager.
Go to the public_html folder and click on upload button.
Simply upload the CronLab PTC script there.
The script is in ZIP format. You need to extract it.
After successful extraction, you don’t need the script on the server. SImply delete the file.
Now, it’s time to configure the script.
Open the folder named cronlab. You can see a file named .env there. Edit it.
You need to make sure that you have a MySQL database and a user is ready to fire. If you don’t have, simply create a MySQL database and assign a user on it.
Enter your database credentials on the .env file and save the updated file.
Good. Now, access the PHPMyAdmin settings.
Choose the database from the left side.
Go to the import function.
On the ZIP file that you purchased, check for a SQL file. Choose the SQL and upload it.
After uploading run it. You will get a success message soon.
From the structure, you can see all the available imported tables.
Open the .env file again and edit the app URL with your installation directory.
Configure the mail server.
Check your website from the front end. It will be working.
For logging in to the website, you need to go to example.com/login. You will get the default admin credentials, video tutorials and SQL file in the purchase file. Also, if you face any trouble, the code author will probably help you to fix it with the right configuration.
