By default, websites have a maximum file upload size of 2 MB. We all know which is nothing. In that case, you may want to increase maximum file upload size to a higher value. In this post, we will show you the right way to do it using the power of cPanel.
How To Increase Maximum File Upload Size Using cPanel
First of all, log in to your cPanel.
Search for the MultiPHP INI Editor there and open it on a new tab.
Choose the path that you need to change the value. There, you can change your domain’s or root’s configuration. In my case, I would like to change my domain’s value.
Go to the bottom page and you can see the maximum upload limit there.
Simply change the value to 64MB or 128MB and save the changes.
Let’s check the change from our front end.
The settings are working and it increased my maximum file upload size to 128MB. If you are having trouble using the settings, you may want to contact your web hosting support team. Web hosting will limit some features exclusively in shared hostings. Also, check our tutorial about changing PHP version using cPanel.
